Christmas Sepia Card

Christmas Cute Companions - variation on a theme.

This card started out as a bit of an experiment.  I liked this little mouse and I really fancied making a sepia card.   I have seen this technique many times before but not felt confident enough to have a try.  So I applied my little grey cells and hay presto my first sepia card was born. I hope you like it.

Crafters Compnion Challenge 4

Crafters Challenge 4

For this challenge I have used Jenny from Patchwork Polly .  As you can see I have stamped Jenny, flowers and the toy rabbit onto white card and I used ProMarker pens to colour them in.   I've chosen a backing paper from Crafters Companion Popcorn the Bear ‘Kids’ CD and I selected the spotty paper from coordinating backing papers, printed in green. The gingham paper was from Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle CD, I matt and layered the papers. I've used lace ribbon, green crippled paper and assembled the card following the sketch. Oh and I used Crafters Companions silver spray & sparkle on Jenny’s wings, flowers and the rabbit.

My Nephew's Cards

I wanted to try out the free die and embossing boards that I got with my cuttlebug (purchased from Riverside Crafts) so I made this card for my nephew’s birthday. I put together a simple arrangement, not too fussy (because we know what boys are like). I used chalk around the edges (first time) and hay presto, simple but effective and I hope my nephew likes it.

Another card I made for my nephew.

Annette's Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my sister Annette, she says it reminders her of her youngest daughter.

Arlene's and Jessica's Challenge

Arlene's Card

I bought a set of Smirk stamps yesterday from Riverside Crafts and I thought what would be a great way of using these stamps than to challenge my niece Jessica. So Jess and I spent late yesterday afternoon in our respective corners, heads down, working away on our projects and here they are……

Jessica's Card

Purple Blossoms

I made this card at the same time as I made the card for Riverside Crafts Card Candy Challenge ‘Summer Flowers’.  The topper and backing image are from Fashion Boutique by Joanne Sheen.

Candy Challenge #3 Summer Flowers at Riverside Crafts

For this challenge at Riverside Crafts I used a flower fairy decoupage topper and I printed the backing paper from Popcorn the Bear Flower CD. Using various size dies I cut circles in silver, pale blue and white pearl card and a flower die, using pale blue paper and dark blue vellum (curl the petals and double mount the flowers), for the swirls I used the same vellum. I added blue and white ribbon and I used pearls to finish off the flowers and in the corners, all of which is mounted on to white card.

Candy Challenge #2 Father's Day at Riverside Crafts

 Father's Day
For this project I used dark chocolate, cream and bronze pearl cardstock. I stamped Popcorn the Bear image onto the cream card and I also stamped several mugs and flowers that came with the same stamp set. I coloured Popcorn the Bear, mugs and flowers using ProMarker pens. The sentiments, I used brown ink and clear embossing powder.
